Late afternoon aproached the village of Konoha. Everyone at the acedemy was being picked up by their parents, and going home from school. There you saw a little boy sitting on a swing in the shadows. People whispering bad things about him...

Little Naruto was sitting on the swing he always sits at. He was depressed because he didn't have any parents. He let out a sigh of sadness.

Little Suki was walking out of the acedemy. She looked around for her parents. They seemed to not be here yet to pick her up. She sat down on the grass and waited. She had over-heard people talking and saying "Oh don't talk to that boy. He's bad." Suki looked over at the boy. "He doesn't seem bad. He looks lonely" she said to herself. Suki walked over to the people talking..

"Excuse me? What's so bad about that boy over there?" she asked

The people just ignored her, and walked home. Suki looked over at him again. She let out a sigh and began to walk over towards him. Naruto was hanging his head being upset. Suki sat down in front of him on the ground. Naruto looked up at her.

Hi I'm Akiyama Suki! she said with a smile.

Naruto stared at her for a moment. "...I'm Uzumaki Naruto"

"Oh that's a nice name" she said. "Why are you upset? Where's your parents? They not here yet either?"

Naruto looked down. "..I don't have any parents"

Suki looked down also "Oh Im sorry"

"What about you? You have any parents?" he asked

"Yeah, but they aren't here yet" she replied

"Oh, is it fun having parents?" he wondered

"I guess, but they can be kind of a pain in the butt" she said

Naruto laughed quietly. "Well I bet it's still fun"

They both smiled and walking towards them came Suki's parents.

"Oh Im sorry I have to go." she said sadly.

"Yeah me too" Naruto said.

He got off the swing and started walking home. Suki walked with her parents and turned around looking at Naruto, he has his head hanging low. She then looked up at her parents and whispered something to them. They both nodded.

Suki turned around and shouted "Hey Naruto!'

Naruto turned around to hear Suki's voice

"Wanna come over for dinner? We're having ramen!" she shouted to him.

Naruto's face grew bright and he smiled "Sure!" he shouted back

Suki ran over towards Naruto. Once she got to him she grabbed his hand. "Come on lets go" she said. Naruto smiled and nodded. They ran back to where her parents were and began to walk to Suki's house

Naruto looked at Suki and smiled.




This was the start of a beautiful friendship
